KuruBa-CI is located in Korhogo, one of the major cities of northern Côte d'Ivoire. KuruBa-CI works with the AGEREF of the Warigué whose office is located in Ferkessédougou a city 55 km east of Korhogo. The Warigué AGEREF is recognized by the Ivorian government as a legitimate association of villages which have come together for the purpose of conservation and responsible utilization of the resources found within their bio-diversity zone. The role of KuruBa-CI is to accompany this association and eventually the Mont Tingui AGEREF in the development and sustainable use of the bio-diversity zones at their disposal.
